Pat dry and season the wings. Season the wings with salt and pepper You can season them with salt and pepper, or chicken seasoning blend, or season as desired.
Air fryer instructions
Preheat the air fryer to 400F and bake for 10 minutes. Flip to the other side and cook for another 8 to 10 minutes or until crispy and golden brown.
Preheat the oven to 400°F. Line a sheet pan with foil and place an oven-safe rack on top of the foil. Coat the rack with cooking spray. Arrange the chicken wings in a single layer on the rack—Bake for 35 to 45 minutes or until crispy and golden brown.
Prepare Harissa Sauce Marinade
While the wings are in the air fryer, melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir in the harissa sauce, garlic powder, honey, and salt and pepper if desired. Simmer for 2 to 4 minutes. If you notice that the sauce is too thick, you can add chicken stock or red wine vinegar.
Once the wings are done, toss them in the sauce and ensure an even coating. Serve hot and enjoy.
When baking in the oven, don’t forget to flip half time for even cooking to prevent the chicken wings from burning.
You can use the meat thermometer to check the internal temperature of the wings.
