Ingredients

  • 2 lbs chicken wings cut into wingettes & drumettes
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Onion Powder
  • 2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ½ to 1 teaspoon Salt or to taste
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper or to taste
  • ½ teaspoon Cayenne Pepper

Instructions

  • Place all the chicken wings in a large bowl. Add all the seasoning with olive oil.
  • Toss well to combine. Make sure to coat them well.
  • Place the wings in the air fryer basket (don’t overcrowd) and air fry at 400F for 10 minutes on the first side.
  • Flip to the other side and cook for another 8 to 10 minutes or until the wings become crispy.

Notes

  • For extra crispy skin, pat the wings with a paper towel before adding to the spice mix to absorb any excess moisture. Leaving them uncovered in the fridge for an hour will also dry them out nicely.
  • Once cooked, these wings can be kept covered in the fridge for up to 4 days. They will lose their crispness but can be placed back in a preheated air fryer or oven for a few minutes to bring them back to life.
  • Don’t overcrowd the chicken wings in the air fryer. If they are sitting too close together, they won’t cook and crisp as evenly.
