For extra crispy skin, pat the wings with a paper towel before adding to the spice mix to absorb any excess moisture. Leaving them uncovered in the fridge for an hour will also dry them out nicely.
Once cooked, these wings can be kept covered in the fridge for up to 4 days. They will lose their crispness but can be placed back in a preheated air fryer or oven for a few minutes to bring them back to life.
Don’t overcrowd the chicken wings in the air fryer. If they are sitting too close together, they won’t cook and crisp as evenly.
