Calories

Ingredients

  • ¼ cup all-purpose flour
  • teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 to 2 teaspoon salt to taste
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon hot sauce
  • 2 tablespoon water
  • cups panko breadcrumbs
  • lb chicken tenders

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  • In a shallow bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  • In another bowl, whisk together the eggs, hot sauce, and water until well combined.
  • Place the panko breadcrumbs in a third bowl.
  • Dredge each chicken tender in the flour mixture (shake off excess), then dip into the egg mixture, and finally coat with the panko breadcrumbs, pressing gently so it sticks well.
  • Place the coated tenders on the prepared baking sheet in a single layer. Lightly spray the tops with cooking spray.
  • Bake for 18–22 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the chicken is cooked through and the coating is golden and crispy.
  • Sprinkle with chopped parsley and serve hot.
