Homemade Peanut Butter

Ingredients

  • 3 cups roasted peanuts salted or unsalted
  • sea salt to taste [if using unsalted peanuts]

Instructions

  • Start by placing the peanuts in the food processor. Add a little sea salt to taste if you are using unsalted peanuts.
  • Process the peanuts until very smooth, for about 5 to 10 minutes. The total time depends on the strength of your food processor. Make sure you stop the processor every 30 seconds to 1 minute to scrape down the sides of the bowl.

Notes

  • Ensure that you use enough peanuts that cover the food processor blade by about two inches before you blend.
