Ingredients

  • 6 to 8 slices bread
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • teaspoon cinnamon
  • teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 teaspoon butter

Instructions

  • Crack the eggs in a large bowl and beat well. Add in all of the remaining ingredients, except the oil (butter). Mix fully together until the mixture starts to froth.
  • Dip one slice of the bread in the egg mixture and let it sit until it fully absorbs the mixture rotating halfway through, about 10 seconds on each side.
  • Cook the slices of the bread on a lightly greased nonstick griddle or skillet on medium heat. Cook the slices for about 5 minutes on each side, until they are golden brown.
