Ground Beef And Cabbage

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoon oil
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 medium onion diced
  • 1 cup bell peppers diced
  • ½ habanero minced
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 3 tablespoon tomato paste
  • 2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 1 teaspoon bouillon powder
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric
  • ¼ to ½ cup water
  • 1 kg green cabbage chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Slice the cabbage into desired size, rinse, drain and set aside.
  • Heat the oil in a pan over medium heat.
  • Add the ground beef and cook until browned.
  • Stir in the onion and bell peppers, and cook until the vegetables are soft.
  • Add the habanero, garlic, tomato paste, paprika, oregano, bouillon powder, turmeric and. Season with salt and pepper. Add water and mix well to combine.
  • Add the cabbage to the pan. Stir to combine all the ingredients.
  • Cook for 5 to 7 minutes over medium heat, or until the cabbage is tender.
  • Garnish with parsley and serve over rice.
