Dissolve the yeast and sugar in the warm milk and leave it for about 5 minutes until it froths. (The temperature of the milk should be between 95° F and 115° F).
Add the eggs and the melted butter inside the proofed yeast. Whisk together and set aside.
Combine all the dry ingredients - Flour, Sugar, and Salt.
Combine the wet ingredients with the dry ingredients using a wooden spoon. Mix until you have a very wet and sticky dough.
Cover the dough with a lid or plastic wrap and leave it in a warm place to rise for 1-½ hours.
After the dough has risen, punch it down to remove the trapped air and start forming your rolls.
Line the air fryer with parchment paper and spray it with some cooking spray.
Carefully arrange the dinner rolls inside the air fryer basket. Brush it with egg wash (1 egg + 1 tablespoon water), and arrange them inside the basket.
Leave it to proof again for another 30 minutes. Then brush with the egg wash and air fry at 350°F/180°C for 10 to 15 minutes.
Brush the surface again with some butter to give it a soft crust.
Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving – if you can wait :). Enjoy!
