What curry mixture do you use for the Jollof rice?

Hi Edwin, I usually use the store bought brand for my jollof rice and my favorite brands are: Lion brand, McCormick, and blue mountain but you don't have to stick to those exact brands. Feel free to use any brand you trust and enjoy.

Good Afternoon. My Girl Scout Troop has Chosen to learn about Nigeria for our World Thinking Day event this year. My Girls all 10-11 love cooking and food in general. We always incorporate a cultures cuisine while we are learning and other countries. What dish would you recommend expresses Nigerian Culture fully, or what was your favorite dish to make when you were little?

This is great James. I am sorry for late response. I hope the camp isn't done by the time you get this response.

I have a list of Nigerian food here. The popular ones like jollof rice and Nigerian fried rice are easy to make. Feel free to go through the list, check the ingredients and pick one. I wish the girls the best.
