Delicious Oven Baked Turkey Wings

Nice, tender, and juicy Oven-Baked Turkey Wings seasoned with Salt, Garlic Powder, Paprika, Parsley Flakes, and Black Pepper. The outcome is absolute goodness!

Baked Turkey Wings

Honestly, these tender and juicy Baked Turkey Wings are not only great for festive celebrations and Thanksgiving dinner but they are also perfect for weeknight dinners when served over Rice or Mashed Potatoes. They are so inexpensive and taste like you have been cooking all day.

After the Turkey wings are done, you may have some stock left in the Pan. This can easily be used to make gravy or simply use it for any other recipe that calls for chicken or turkey stock.

Talking about Turkey wings and gravy. You can check out my delicious oven-baked smothered Turkey wings here. You may also like Lemon Pepper Wings with Lemon Pepper Sauce, you will enjoy it.

  • The first thing to do is to combine all the spices together in a small bowl and set that aside.
  • I’m a believer in washing my poultry meat. I like to wash the wings thoroughly.  You can use vinegar or lemon juice to clean it up effectively then rinse with warm water. You can skip this step if you don’t like washing your poultry meat.
  • Place the wings in a tray. You may dry them a bit with a paper towel if there’s too much water on them. Drizzle the Olive Oil over the wings and massage it all over each of the wings. This will allow the seasoning to stick on the wings and it will also allow you to achieve that golden brown roasted color.
  • Cover up the baking dish with foil paper and place in a 375F preheated oven for one hour. After one hour, remove the foil paper and bake uncovered for another 30 minutes to one hour depending on how tender and how browned you want the wings to be.
  •  And voila! your baked turkey wings are ready!!

How to make this delicious Oven-Baked Turkey Wings

These tender Oven-Baked Turkey Wings can be served over Rice, Couscous, or Mashed Potatoes. I love to serve mine with a bowl of Salad.

Notes

  • As always, there are variations that you can make to this recipe. To begin with, you can omit the bell peppers and replace with Carrots or Celery.
  • I divided the wings into wingettes and Drummettes. Just a personal preference. You may choose not to divide it if you don’t want to.
  • This recipe is for 3 lbs wings if you are cooking for more people, simply double or triple the recipe. Likewise, you may divide the recipe if cooking for a lesser group of people.
  • If you don’t have chicken stock, feel free to use water. However, you will need to add one to two bouillon cubes to enhance the taste of your wings.

Greetings, Lola, I was truly excited about preparing your baked turkey wings recipe but...although the presentation was great, the family did not care for the bell peppers. But I do want to prepare the recipe again. What would you suggest?
