  • Make sure to dry your chicken thoroughly after washing it. Too much moisture will hinder that all-important crisping process.

  • You can check the internal temperature of your chicken by using a meat thermometer put into the thickest part of the drumstick. When it reaches 185°F, you will know that you have perfectly cooked but still tender chicken.

Ingredients

  • 2 lb chicken drumsticks
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp curry powder
  • 1/2 tsp dried thyme
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 Tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  • Clean and pat the chicken dry with a paper towel.
  • Put the chicken in a large bowl. Add all the seasoning with the oil and mix
  • thoroughly until all the ingredients coat the chicken. OR, add spice mixture to bag
  • or bowl and toss to coat chicken legs.
  • Place into the air on the frying basket, spacing evenly, and air fry at 400˚F for 15 minutes.
  • Open the air fryer and flip the legs over. Close and cook for ten more minutes or
  • until the internal temperature reaches 185°F.
  • Remove from the air fryer and serve immediately.
