Going forward, Phillybread.com will be sharing baking recipes you can easily make at home. So if you enjoy bread, muffins, and baking, then you’ve come to the right place. Our passion is baking, and we want to share what we do with people who also like to bake. But before exploring our virtual kitchen, we thought we’d start with a description of ourselves. Who are we? Why are we here?
Who are we?
This is a blog about cooking, bread, baking, and pretty much everything related to making you a better baker and cook. This is where we share our recipes with you, as well as bake-alongs, holiday specials, and more!
You’ll be hearing from me a lot here, and we’re going to have a lot of fun, and chances are you’re going to learn some new recipes. I believe in keeping things simple. So there won’t be any sweet jargon used.
- Apart from baking recipes, you will also see Chicken recipes, Air fryer recipes, African recipes, soups and stews, one-pot meals, Breakfast recipes, dinner recipes, and much more.
Why bother writing a blog on something as silly as baking?
There are many reasons why I try and spend time creating content for this blog. The first and main reason is that I love baking; it relaxes me, I actually enjoy being in the kitchen (most of the time), I love the end product of all those hours spent beating, stirring, and kneading — there’s nothing better than eating the bread we bake, it seems to taste better.
And lastly, I thought it might be something worth sharing with others. Why not? The world has plenty of cooking-related blogs, but there aren’t as many blogs out there that discuss in-depth baking — so why not be one of them?
Why are we here?
It’s so interesting to observe how such simple ingredients can turn into something so delicious. Baking is really a science. The less you mess with the recipe, the better the result will be. This blog is the place where I share my experience with baking recipes.
You’ll find tutorials for making bread, cookies, cakes, and cupcakes. Plus, tips and tricks to help you bake your very best creations.
We’ll show you how to bake some of our favorite breads like Dutch Oven Bread, crusty bread, No-knead potato sandwich bread, delicious yeast bread and much more!
We are also going to be talking a lot about various baking topics, interacting with you, the reader, and answering any questions that might come up.
We hope you will keep visiting our blog for new, delicious recipes and updates on our latest creations.
